Heights Cigar Lounge, established in the Spring of 2010, was created from a desire to provide an indoor space to share and smoke cigars with friends. When we were in the initial phase of creating Heights Cigar Lounge, we recognized that cigar lounges were not the mainstay they have become and set out to create a lounge that was inviting to everyone. A repeated phrase our founder has made is that he believes his grandfather would feel welcome and at home at Heights Cigar Lounge.

After many months of planning we opened our doors January 2011. Shortly after opening, we found that customers had, and still have, a tremendous impact on defining and improving the lounge experience for everyone and over time the lounge became a place that has provided respite, comfort, and friendships for anyone. Even today, as many customers have attested, Heights Cigar Lounge is a lounge that is not pretentious which is as comfortable as being at home. We had no idea that our tag line, your den away from home, would resonate with so many that it would ultimately become reality.

Heights Cigar Lounge has partnered with cigar brand owners and manufacturers, a national premium tobacco trade association, Premium Cigar Association, a Texas lobbying association, Texas Cigar Merchants Association, a national consumer association, Cigar Rights of America, and a premium tobacco industry recognized education organization, Tobacconist University. Heights Cigar Lounge believes it has positioned itself as one of the most knowledgeable tobacconist shops in the City of Houston through these partnerships. We have discovered that we have a unique process for choosing and providing the right cigar from our portfolio for anyone from a beginner to the aficionado from a staff who have a combined twenty years of experience with premium tobacco.

Heights Cigar Lounge is centrally located providing easy access to any of the amenities and activities anyone wishes to participate in throughout the greater Houston area. Communities such as Montrose, Upper Kirby, Memorial and Memorial Park, River Oaks, Garden Oaks, Washington Avenue, Downtown and Mid-town are just minutes away. The lounge is close to North I-610 providing quick access to Hwy 290, I-10, 1-45 and Hwy 59 (I-69).
